Introduction
Young Shipping Australia Queensland (YSAQ) is a non-profit organisation developed for young professionals within the shipping/logistics industry. YSAQ was established informally in 2012 and formally in 2013. This organisation provides the younger persons in the shipping/logistics community with educational and social events throughout the year with the opportunity to meet similar persons in the industry.

YSA Membership
$60.00 – $75.00
New, or renewed, membership with Young Shipping Australia is valid until 30 June 2020
| Full YSA Member – $60 per annum Eligible to employees of Shipping Australia Limited or Maritime Industry Australia Limited members |
Associate YSA Member – $75 per annum Open to individuals with an interest in the Australian shipping industry (limited to 20% of total number of YSA members) |
Members receive discounts to events across Australia and are given preference when attending limited capacity tours. Become part of the YSA network and join other young professionals keeping informed on developments within the shipping industry.

Mission Statement
As a peak industry body, YSAQ’s aim is to both promote and advance the interests of ship owners, shipping agents, forwarders and related bodies in all matters of shipping policy, environmentally sustainable practices, safe ship operations and current legislation. YSAQ is also a place for young people in the shipping and transport industry to socialise and network in a relaxed environment.
